Carol Shachat is the Investment Services Specialist Cashier for McCarter Private Wealth Services. Her responsibilities include asset movement, portfolio reporting, and client service. She monitors and executes all client requests, distributions, and tax payments, including all aspects of asset/money movement, forecasting, and management of cash. She maintains an excellent relationship with clients and custodians to ensure the highest level of customer service. Previously, Carol was an Investment Services Specialist for Burns & Levinson Asset Management, LLP, and an Operations Specialist with Winslow, Evans and Crocker, a broker/dealer in Boston. Her responsibilities included money movements, deposits, and journal transactions. She also ensured industry compliance as it pertained to documents and monetary transactions.
Prior to working at Winslow, Carol was an officer at Shawmut Bank in the Property Management department overseeing the lease management, operating budgets, management of expenses, and lease negotiation for the New England portfolio of properties.
Carol is a member of the US Women of Today, a national, non-profit, civic organization. She has been an active member of the Mansfield, MA, chapter, one of the largest chapters in the United States, for more than 25 years. She has held multiple positions including Ways & Means Vice President, Community Service Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. In addition to receiving many awards, including Officer of the Year, she is also a recipient of the prestigious Presidential Pin, which is awarded to a few outstanding members who display commitment and dedication to the organization. Carol also volunteers at her local food pantry on a regular basis.
Carol graduated with honors from Bentley University with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Management and an Associate’s degree in Accountancy.
